Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

Your adventure begins early in the morning with a scenic drive from Arusha to Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most underrated wildlife gems. Famous for its towering baobab trees and large elephant herds, Tarangire offers exceptional game viewing, especially along the Tarangire River.

Spend the day on extensive game drives, spotting elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, and a wide variety of birdlife. Enjoy a hot lunch inside the park before continuing your afternoon safari, capturing the golden light and dramatic landscapes that make Tarangire so special.

As the sun sets, drive to your nearby campsite, where a warm dinner awaits. Gather around the campfire and relax under the stars, surrounded by the peaceful sounds of the African bush.

Day 2: Tarangire – Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

After an early breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, ascending into the cool highlands before descending 600 meters into the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater — a UNESCO World Heritage Site often referred to as the “Eighth Wonder of the World.”

Enjoy a thrilling game drive on the crater floor, home to an extraordinary concentration of wildlife. Expect to see lions, elephants, buffalo, hippos, flamingos, and, with luck, the rare black rhino. The enclosed nature of the crater offers excellent wildlife sightings within a breathtaking volcanic landscape.

After a hot lunch inside the crater, continue your final game drive before ascending the crater walls and returning to Arusha by late afternoon, marking the end of your unforgettable Tanzania safari.
