Day 1: Arusha – Serengeti National Park

After breakfast in Arusha, begin your journey toward Serengeti National Park, traveling through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The drive offers stunning views of rolling highlands, open plains, and the possibility of wildlife sightings even before reaching the park.

Enjoy a hot picnic lunch en route before entering the Serengeti in the afternoon. Upon arrival, embark on your first game drive across the vast plains, where you may encounter lions, elephants, cheetahs, giraffes, buffalo, zebras, and large herds of wildebeest. The sheer scale and beauty of the Serengeti create a powerful first impression that stays with you long after the day ends.

After breakfast and continued exploration, enjoy a hot lunch before beginning your journey toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The drive offers changing scenery, from wide open plains to lush highland landscapes, with opportunities for wildlife sightings along the way.

Arrive at your campsite near the crater rim in the late afternoon. As the sun sets, enjoy dinner and prepare for the next day’s descent into one of Africa’s most extraordinary natural wonders.
