Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

After an early breakfast in Arusha, depart for Tarangire National Park, a scenic drive through rural landscapes and open plains. Upon arrival, begin your first game drive in a park famed for its towering baobab trees and some of the largest elephant herds in East Africa.

Spend the day exploring Tarangire’s diverse habitats, spotting elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, and a wide variety of birdlife. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing your afternoon game drive, with chances to encounter predators such as lions and leopards.

Arrive in the Serengeti in time for a picnic lunch, followed by an extensive afternoon game drive. Explore the endless plains where lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, buffalo, and vast herds of wildebeest and zebras roam freely. As the sun sets, continue to your campsite located within the park.

In the afternoon, travel toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, ascending gradually into cooler highlands. Enjoy scenic views and possible wildlife sightings en route before arriving at your campsite near the crater rim.

Relax in the evening, enjoy dinner, and prepare for the following day’s descent into one of Africa’s most extraordinary natural wonders.

After an early breakfast, descend over 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for a guided game drive within this UNESCO World Heritage Site. The crater floor hosts an exceptional concentration of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffalo, hippos, flamingos, hyenas, and the rare black rhino.

Explore grasslands, forests, and lakes within the crater while enjoying a picnic lunch surrounded by breathtaking scenery. After completing your crater tour, ascend the crater walls and begin your return journey to Arusha, or proceed directly to the airport for your onward flight.
