Tour Plan

Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

After breakfast in Arusha, meet your safari guide for a short briefing before departing toward Tarangire National Park. The scenic drive passes open countryside, Maasai villages, and ancient baobab trees.

Upon arrival, enjoy an extensive game drive through Tarangire’s wildlife-rich landscapes. The park is famous for its large elephant herds, towering baobabs, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, and diverse birdlife. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing your afternoon exploration, with chances to spot lions and leopards.

In the late afternoon, exit the park and transfer to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park – Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara National Park, nestled below the Great Rift Valley escarpment. Despite its compact size, the park offers remarkable ecological diversity.

Enjoy a full-day game drive through lush groundwater forests, open grasslands, and the alkaline lakeshore. Watch for the park’s famous tree-climbing lions, large troops of baboons, elephants, giraffes, hippos, and thousands of flamingos. Bird lovers will appreciate the park’s more than 400 recorded species.

Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Lake Manyara – Serengeti National Park

Following breakfast, begin your journey toward the world-famous Serengeti National Park, traveling through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enjoy scenic views along the crater rim and across the southern plains, where wildlife sightings are often part of the journey. Depending on the season, you may pass through the Ndutu area, known for seasonal wildlife concentrations.

Enjoy a picnic lunch en route before entering the Serengeti. Spend the afternoon on a game drive across the vast plains, encountering lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, buffalo, zebras, and large herds of wildebeest. Arrive at your lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Continue exploring until early afternoon, enjoying a picnic lunch before departing the Serengeti. Travel toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, taking in sweeping views and occasional wildlife sightings along the route. Arrive at your lodge near the crater rim in the evening, where cooler air and dramatic scenery create a peaceful setting for the night.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

Rise early to witness sunrise over the Ngorongoro Crater, followed by breakfast before descending more than 600 meters into this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Spend the morning on a guided game drive across the crater floor, one of the most wildlife-dense areas in Africa.

Expect to see lions, elephants, buffalo, hippos, hyenas, flamingos, and, with luck, the rare black rhino. Enjoy a hot picnic lunch surrounded by breathtaking scenery before ascending the crater walls and beginning your return journey to Arusha.
