Tour Plan
Day 1: Arusha to Ngorongoro Crater – Continue to Ndutu
After an early breakfast in Arusha, your guide meets you for a briefing before you begin your journey toward the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater. The drive takes you through scenic highlands, Maasai villages, and forested slopes before reaching the crater rim, where a breathtaking panorama opens below you.
Descend 600 meters into the crater floor for a half-day game drive, exploring one of the richest wildlife habitats on the continent. The crater is home to dense populations of lions, buffalo, zebras, hyenas, hippos, and a remarkable variety of birds. Keep your eyes open for the rare black rhino, often seen grazing in the open grasslands.
In the afternoon, ascend the crater and continue driving through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you may spot giraffes, elephants, and Maasai herders tending to their cattle. As the landscape transitions into the short-grass plains of Ndutu, you enter the heart of the Great Migration’s calving grounds—an area teeming with life during December to March.
Arrive at your Ndutu tented camp in time for sunset, followed by dinner and relaxation under the stars.
Accommodation: Ndutu Tented Camp – Full Board

Day 2: Full Day Game Drives in Ndutu
Today is dedicated entirely to exploring the Ndutu plains, one of the most dramatic wildlife destinations during the migration season. At the height of calving, thousands of wildebeest give birth here within just a few weeks, creating an immense nursery that attracts predators from all directions.
Begin your morning game drive at sunrise, when predators are most active. The open plains provide ideal visibility for observing lions, cheetahs, hyenas, jackals, and huge herds of wildebeest and zebras. Depending on sightings, you may choose to return to camp for lunch and a short rest, or enjoy a full-day game drive with picnic lunch out in the wild.
In the late afternoon, continue exploring until sunset paints the sky over the plains. Return to camp to share stories of the day around the fire before dinner.
Accommodation: Ndutu Tented Camp – Full Board

Day 3: Ndutu to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, begin your journey northward, transitioning from the open Ndutu plains into the vast Serengeti ecosystem. With your picnic lunches packed, enjoy a game-drive transfer as you officially enter Serengeti National Park—one of Africa’s greatest wildlife strongholds.
Throughout the drive, expect to encounter a variety of wildlife: giraffes nibbling on acacia trees, solitary leopards draped across branches, elephant families moving through woodlands, and possibly the migrating herds depending on the timing. Every turn offers a new surprise.
Arrive at your Serengeti safari camp or lodge in the late afternoon. Take time to unwind, enjoy the views, and listen to the nighttime sounds of the savannah.
Accommodation: Serengeti Camp/Lodge – Full Board

Day 4: Full Day in Serengeti
Today is a full day dedicated to discovering the wonders of the Serengeti. You may set out early to catch the sunrise—a spectacular moment when the plains awaken with color and wildlife activity.
Your guide will tailor the day depending on animal movements:
Track big cats in known territories
Follow herds across sweeping grasslands
Visit river valleys where hippos wallow and crocodiles sunbathe
Explore kopjes—ancient rock outcrops that lions love to use as lookout points
Lunch can be served as a picnic out in the bush or back at camp, depending on your preference and the day’s sightings.
As the sun sets, return to your camp for dinner and relaxation under the star-filled African sky.
Accommodation: Serengeti Camp/Lodge – Full Board

Day 5: Serengeti to Arusha
After breakfast, begin your final game drive as you make your way toward the park gate. This morning offers one more chance to enjoy the Serengeti’s wildlife—sometimes the most memorable encounters happen just as you say goodbye.
Continue driving through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying changing landscapes along the route. Arrive back in Arusha by late afternoon, where you will be dropped at your hotel or transferred to the airport for your onward flight.
Your safari ends with unforgettable memories of Tanzania’s wild beauty.
