Roi Lion Tours is a local safari and trekking company based in Northern Tanzania, at the gateway to some of Africa’s most spectacular landscapes. From the endless plains of the Serengeti and the dramatic Ngorongoro Crater to the mighty Mount Kilimanjaro, we design journeys that bring you closer to wildlife, nature, and the rich cultures of East Africa.
Our name, Roi Lion – “Lion King” in French – reflects our passion for the wilderness and the pride we take in every journey we create. Whether you are coming for a once-in-a-lifetime safari, a Kilimanjaro summit attempt, or a short gateway to the Ndutu Migration, we treat every trip with the same care and attention to detail.
Who We Are
Roi Lion Tours is made up of experienced safari guides, mountain guides, and a dedicated operations team who have spent years working in Tanzania’s national parks and on the slopes of Kilimanjaro. We live here, we know the seasons, the animal movements, and the hidden viewpoints – and we love sharing this knowledge with our guests.
Our guides are professionally trained, licensed, and fluent in English (and often additional languages). Safety, comfort, and honest, friendly service are our priorities from the moment you arrive until we wave goodbye at the airport.
